Choose the airport with the whole journey in mind

When comparing Orlando International (MCO) and Orlando Sanford International (SFB), consider flight schedules, total travel time, luggage and onward transport. Do not choose solely on the fare or an unverified claim about which airport is nearest.

For private aviation, confirm the airport, operator and ground arrangements with the flight provider. Use the actual arrival terminal or facility when arranging pickup.

Car rental, chauffeur or group transfer?

A rental car offers flexibility for outings and groceries. A private transfer can simplify arrival, particularly for a group with tired children or several bags. A chauffeured SUV, van or limousine should be selected around passenger and luggage capacity, not appearance alone.

Ask about child seats, golf bags, accessibility, flight delays, meet-and-greet arrangements, tolls, waiting time and cancellation terms. Confirm the return pickup separately if flights or party sizes differ.

Use the right destination

Provide the full property address and follow the manager’s instructions for the arrival gate. A driver arriving at Reunion Grande may still be some distance from your accommodation. Share guest registration requirements in advance.

Driving time varies with traffic and the route. Check a live journey estimate for your travel window and allow extra time for airport procedures. For park days, distinguish driving from parking and the remaining journey into the attraction.

Orlando International Airport: compare the full arrival

Orlando International Airport (MCO) publishes options for on-airport and off-airport rental cars, rideshare, taxis, shuttle vans and vehicles for hire. Use the airport’s current transport instructions for your arrival terminal. The cost of a rental car should include parking, toll arrangements and the number of journeys you expect during the stay.

Check current arrangements with MCO’s official transport directory. Operational information can change.

A chauffeur or limousine: specify the vehicle

A passenger count alone is not enough for a comfortable airport transfer. List checked bags, strollers, mobility equipment and golf clubs. Ask for the actual vehicle category, luggage capacity, child-seat arrangements, meet-and-greet location, waiting allowance and flight-delay policy. A limousine may be an occasion in itself, but luggage space still matters.

For the return flight, agree pickup from the correct home address and allow for gate procedures, traffic and the airline’s check-in requirements. We can discuss your plans through an enquiry; transport is arranged with an independent provider and is not included in a rental unless stated in writing.

Check the airport code before comparing fares

Orlando International and Orlando Sanford International are different airports. Compare the total journey and transfer quote when deciding between flights. Give the provider the airport code, flight number and local arrival date, especially when an overnight flight changes the date of travel.
