Start with the meal you want
A private-chef enquiry should describe the occasion, number of diners, preferred style and dietary requirements. A relaxed family barbecue and a multi-course celebration need different preparation, staffing and timing. Ask whether children’s meals can be accommodated separately.
Confirm what is included: ingredients, service staff, table setup, drinks, cleanup, travel and any minimum charge. Clarify the payment schedule and cancellation terms before booking.
Check the home as well as the menu
Ask your property manager about outside service providers, visitor numbers and access arrangements. Share accurate information about kitchen equipment, dining seats and available preparation space with the chef. A large kitchen photograph does not confirm every appliance or utensil required.
For a special occasion, agree a realistic start and finish time. The home’s noise and occupancy rules still apply, including when professional staff are present.
Request help with your plans
Tell us your stay dates, party size and the occasion. We can discuss available local introductions; the service provider confirms menus, prices and availability directly. This is not a promise that a chef service is included with your rental.
Planning the evening
Check the kitchen and dining layout using our luxury-home checklist. If you would rather go out, compare the options in our Restaurant Row dining guide.

We’ll use your details to help with your enquiry and may share relevant trip details with the property manager or service provider. Read our privacy policy.
Tell us a little about your trip. Flexible dates and early plans are welcome; only your name and email are required.
What happens next? We’ll review your enquiry and follow up by email to discuss suitable options. Before you book, confirm availability, the full price and the amenities included with the individual home.
An enquiry is not a booking. No payment details are needed to enquire. A deposit is required to book a vacation rental; the amount, payment schedule and cancellation terms will be provided before you commit. We act as an independent booking agent for professionally managed homes, primarily through local management partners.
Email guests@vacationrentalsflorida.com with your plans.
What to include in a chef brief
Share the date, number of adults and children, dietary requirements, preferred style of meal and a realistic budget. Ask whether the quote covers ingredients, preparation, serving staff, tableware and cleanup. Clarify what happens to leftovers and whether gratuity or travel is additional.
Send kitchen details only after choosing a provider: oven and hob type, refrigerator capacity and photographs of the dining setup can prevent surprises. Check the home’s permitted occupancy and manager approval for outside providers. A dinner for the registered guests is different from an event with additional visitors.
Choose the service that fits the occasion
A plated anniversary dinner needs a different service arrangement from a relaxed family buffet. Ask how long preparation takes and when the kitchen will be available to your group. For a corporate party, confirm billing requirements and who will make decisions on dietary changes. We can introduce you to local options; the chef confirms availability and service terms.
