Who will look after the property?
Ask who performs inspections, how maintenance is arranged and who handles guest concerns. Find out who your day-to-day contact would be and how issues are escalated when that person is unavailable.
How will you communicate with me?
Request an example of an owner statement with personal details removed. Ask how often you receive updates, where you can see bookings and how maintenance requests are documented. Agree how urgent and routine matters are handled.
How are marketing and access managed?
Discuss distribution channels, pricing oversight, photography and listing accuracy. Ask how the company confirms club and CDD access and prevents overpromising amenities. Confirm who owns the listing assets and accounts.
What happens when circumstances change?
Ask about owner stays, a future sale, ending the agreement and existing reservations. A clear answer now is more valuable than an assumption discovered during a transition.

Read the management-fee guide before comparing proposals. If another company already looks after the home, use the change-of-manager checklist to prepare for the handover.
